"The NDR Film Prize for Young Talent" has been awarded since 2007 for a first or second program-length feature film by a German-language director. Previous documentaries or short films are not counted. The Creative Energy Film Prize, awarded by an independent jury of experts, is a special recognition of exceptional creative energy and impressive individual achievements in the course of producing a full-length feature film.
