- For the 9th time, the Film and Media Forum Lower Saxony offers a platform for the discussion of current topics around film, cinema, television, internet and film funding. From November 22 to 24, 2018, at Kloster Lüne and Scala Programmkino in Lüneburg, producers, directors, TV editors and authors will present innovative projects and report on production conditions and exploitation concepts. Speakers from broadcasters, politicians, representatives of production companies, associations and many other media sectors will also tackle hot topics at the forum (Source:FMB).
Olaf Krafft ( Leuphana Lüneburg), Volker Wortmann (University of Hildesheim), Christian Ewald (University of Göttingen), Eileen Hirsch (Student University of Hannover) and Nils Loof (Hochschule Hannover) informed on Saturday morning about film education at the respective universities. Together it was suggested to found a kind of academy to bundle the potential in the country and to develop together a film education in Niersachsen. Until the next "Film and Media Forum" in one year, one tries to formulate a common idea.
