Julia C. Kaiser receives Erxleben scholarship.

With the Dorothea Erxleben Equal Opportunity Program, the scholarship recipient receives funding for a period of 2 years.

The Dorothea Erxleben Program for Qualification for a Professorship at Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences was launched back in 1994. In this program, a total of 108 women were supported through the awarding of positions.
With the expiration of the university science program at the end of 2006, the funding line for universities and universities of applied sciences will be discontinued; however, the support of women at the artistic-scientific universities through scholarships (MWK) will be continued. The aim of the scholarship is to qualify female artists for a professorship.
 
Julia Cornelia Kaiser was born in Munich in 1983. From 2006 to 2012 she studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, majoring in screenwriting. In 2012 she graduated with the feature-length screenplay "Jesus Rocks."" In 2015, she submitted her first feature-length film, "Das Floß." Her second feature-length film, "The Hannas," was released in mid-2017.
 
The jury consisted of: Prof. Titus Georgi (HMTH), Birgit Fritzen (HMTH), Claudia Idel (MWK) and Prof. Nils Loof.
